Prucalopride in other indications

Prucalopride is the first in a new class of selective high affinity serotonin with enterokinetic activity.

Beyond its first approved indication, prucalopride is also being tested for use in a number of other indications including chronic constipation in males and children as well as opioid-induced constipation and post operative ileus.
