MailMovetis is at an exciting point in its short history following the EU approval of Resolor (prucalopride) for the symptomatic treatment of chronic constipation in women in whom laxatives fail to provide adequate relief October 2009). In the first quarter of 2010, Movetis made Resolor available in Germany and the United Kingdom. In addition to Germany and the UK, Movetis intends to sell the product itself also in France, the Netherlands and Begium (incl. Luxemburg).
Movetis currently seeks partnerships for the marketing of Resolor to medical specialists in other countries of the European Economic Area, as well as for marketing Resolor to GPs.
This partnering strategy is valid for Movetis’ entire product portfolio – i.e. beyond Resolor.
We also intend to make our development expertise in GI accessible to other partners by complementing our existing drug portfolio with selective acquisitions or in-licensing of additional drug candidates and drugs in our priority GI indications.
