Medical Affairs Manager

The Medical Affairs manager is part of the MAF team and is responsible/assists with certain Medical affairs aspects and activities related to Movetis and its marketed pharmaceutical products.

The Medical Affairs Manager reports to the Director of Medical Affairs.

Principal responsibilties

  • Collects/summarizes medical/scientific information on Movetis products and related disease areas
  • Receives, triages and partly answers medical/scientific questions received by the medical information contact center
  • Collects/ summarizes published literature and other information sources on Movetis’products, competitors and related diseases
  • Attends meetings and congresses in order to obtain new information on competitors, diseases or treatment
  • Assists in medical educational programs such as congress and symposia programming
  • Sets up advisory boards for Key Opinion Leaders
  • Reviews of set-up and protocols of IIS
  • Assists in design, conduction and follow-up of appropriate Phase III-IV trials and other medical initiatives
  • Follows up on the publication planning and reviews publications
  • Reviews promotional material to ensure medical and scientific accuracy

Job Requirements

Education

  • PhD

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a similar role

Other qualifications, skills and abilities

  • Competences in writing, editing, verbal communication and information technology
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Understanding relevant legislation and Codes of Practice relating to promotional activities
  • Team spirit and the ability to work under time pressure
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and MS Projects)
