The team at Movetis has extensive experience, understanding and knowledge of the GI space. Movetis prides itself in its unparalleled in-house expertise which it believes will ensure the Company’s continued success.

The four founders of Movetis form part of our senior management team. Their extensive collective experience and expertise includes growing businesses from the start-up phase into profitable business units. In addition, they have a proven track record in discovering, developing, filing and launching new medicines, particularly in the GI area. The founders of Movetis, who hold financial stakes in the company, formerly worked at Johnson & Johnson. Three were involved in the development of the compounds that were transferred to Movetis when the company was founded.

The Company has 44 staff members (March 2010), but is structurally working together with external partners in various business fields and geographic areas. Headcount is expected to grow further as additional national commercial organisations will be set up.
