Staf Van Reet can build on 35 years of pharma experience. He is former Head of the Global Janssen-Cilag Research and Development organization and currently board member of VIB (Flemish Institute for Biotechnology), Thrombogenics and Elbion as well as past Chairman of FlandersBio. His last position at Janssen Pharmaceutica was that of Managing Director.

Dirk Reyn has 24 years of pharma experience. He was Head of International Strategic Marketing for the Gastrointestinal Franchise at JNJ, a member of several Global Development Teams at Janssen Pharmaceutica, including prucalopride and Global Head of Prepulsid Regulatory Team. Further he builds on 10 years of sales management and commercial experience at Eli Lilly. His last position at Janssen Pharmaceutica was that of VP New Business Development and in-licensing Europe.

Antoine Papiernik, is managing partner at Sofinnova Partners since 1997 and an initial investor and active board member in European and US life sciences companies listed on major exchanges.

Martijn Kleijwegt is economist, co-founder and managing partner of LSP. He has been focusing on human life sciences since 1988, first within the Euroventures organisation and as co-founder of the first LSP fund in 1998 which was followed a the second fund in 2000. Through a large number of investments in the life-sciences sector, he has gained extensive experience in all aspects of biotech venture capital.

Jim Healy is a general partner at Sofinnova Ventures and has experience with both pharmaceutical products and research platforms. He began his private equity career at Sanderling.

Ferdinand Verdonck holds 26 years of executive management experience as director, CFO, CEO and Corporate Vice President in various financial and industry groups. He was Managing Director of Almanij from April 1992 to June 2003.

Peter Van Brummelen built an academic career of more than 20 years of which 15 in research-based senior management positions in global pharmaceutical companies including Hoffman-La Roche, Solvay and Yamanouchi. He worked in the European, US and Japanese environment and was extensively involved in all phases of drug development.

Emile Van Dongen has more than 20 years of executive management experience with Schering Plough and Organon in marketing, sales and operations divisions. Until recently he was the executive Vice President Global Sales of Organon.
